The Agilent G3280-67041 is a nickel skimmer cone (x‑lens) intended as the skimmer (second) interface cone for Agilent 7700/7700x/e, 7800, 7850 and 8800 series ICP‑MS instruments. It extracts positively charged ions from the plasma into the vacuum stage as part of the plasma/vacuum interface and is the standard, economical Ni skimmer for common/routine aqueous and acid samples. It is supplied as a single replacement cone and is meant to be used with the matching Ni sampling cone and appropriate skimmer base for correct fit and operation.
