The Agilent CP-Wax 57 CB (CP8120) is a bonded polyethylene glycol (wax) capillary GC column supplied in a 7" cage; the CP8120 configuration is 60 m × 0.25 mm ID with a 0.40 μm film thickness. It is a high‑polarity column formulated for the separation of polar volatile compounds such as alcohols and glycols and is commonly used in beverage, wine/spirits and related quality‑control analyses. The bonded, high‑inertness phase is intended to give improved peak shape and reproducible quantitation for polar analytes.
