Captiva Premium Syringe Filter 5190-5117 is a 28 mm syringe filter with a cellulose acetate (CA) membrane in a methacrylate butadiene styrene (MBS) housing and a Luer lock connection. The filter has a 0.45 µm pore size and is described by the manufacturer as well suited for aqueous solutions and specially recommended for proteins and protein-related samples. The manufacturer also states that cellulose acetate membranes are not compatible with organic solvents.
