Agilent 5182-0871 is an 11 mm silver aluminum crimp cap supplied 100 per pack that includes a press-fit septum made from a single PTFE layer. These crimp caps are designed for use with wide-opening 2 mL glass and polypropylene vials, 2 mL micro vials and 2 mL High Recovery Vials and are suited for applications such as GC and GC/MS where the sample is more volatile and snap or screw style vials are not appropriate. The single-layer PTFE septum is not re-sealable and the product is therefore not recommended for multiple injections.
