Silver 11 mm aluminum crimp caps with a bi-layer PTFE/red rubber press-fit septum for use with 2 mL wide-mouth glass and polypropylene vials, 2 mL micro vials, and 2 mL high-recovery vials. The press-fit crimp combination is intended for GC and GC‑MS applications where snap or screw caps are not suitable and provides a secure sealing method once crimped. Crimping/decapping tools are required for use and the non-adhesive, press-fit construction allows component separation for easier disposal and recycling.
