Cap, snap, 11 mm, polyethylene olefin, 500/pk. These 11 mm clear snap caps are a molded one‑piece cap made from polyethylene olefin and provide an economical option where resealability is not required and/or the sample is water‑based and not volatile. This combination is suited for a broad range of applications and is a main choice for HPLC applications where the sample is less volatile and screw or crimp style vials are not appropriate. The snap version is used when additional sample preparation steps involving pipetting are required because the user can more easily remove and close the cap while holding the pipetter.
