Replacement Valve, 4-port, for switching valve system (SVS1). The AVS 4 is a 4-port switching valve that reduces analysis time by way of a more efficient sample introduction and rinsing system. The switching valve is installed into the Agilent ICP-OES and is plumbed between the nebulizer and the peristaltic pump of the spectrometer; sample flow is directed to the sample introduction system during stabilization and read times and switched to waste while the sample introduction system is supplied with rinse solution during the rinse time.
