These wide-opening 2 mL crimp top vials are made from clear glass composed of 5% borosilicate material rated as Type 1 Class, providing superior hydrolytic, acid and alkali resistance and offering minimum thermal expansion and shock. The crimp style vial is used where screw or snap top styles are not appropriate based on the sample matrix and/or operating conditions of the analytical workflow, and is one of the main choices for GC and GCMS applications where the sample is more volatile.
