These wide-opening 2 mL screw top vials are made from clear glass composed of 5% borosilicate material rated as Type 1 Class A for superior hydrolytic, acid and alkali resistance and minimum thermal expansion and shock. The screw top style is described by the manufacturer as the most common choice when crimp or snap top styles are not appropriate for the sample matrix or operating conditions and is suited for LC and LC/MS applications where the sample is more volatile.
