PTFE stirring shaft for overhead stirrers designed for chemical-resistant, contamination-free mixing in laboratory reactors and vessels. The shaft features a PTFE body with a stainless-steel insert and an exposed top for strong clamping; it is intended for use with flexible couplings and chuck grips on overhead stirrers to perform gentle to vigorous stirring. Typical applications include mixing and agitation of low- to middle-viscosity fluids in glassware and reactor vessels where chemical inertness and wide temperature stability are required.
