The Eppendorf epMotion 5075l is an automated liquid‑handling workstation built to automate complex pipetting and high‑throughput plate workflows. It dispenses across a broad volume range (0.2 µL–1 mL depending on dispensing tools) and is intended for tasks such as PCR/qPCR setup, NGS library preparation, magnetic‑bead and filter‑based purification, immunoassays, plate reformatting and routine sample transfers. The system is supplied with a MultiCon PC and epBlue software for method control and execution.
Key Features:
- Worktable: 15 ANSI/SLAS (SBS) positions.
- Volume range: 0.2 µL to 1 mL (depending on dispensing tools).
- Controller & software: MultiCon PC with epBlue (keyboard/mouse operable).
- Power: 100–240 V, 50–60 Hz.
- Automated tool exchange and optional CleanCap (UV lamp + HEPA) for decontamination/clean air.
Advantages:
- Automates repetitive pipetting to increase throughput and reproducibility for PCR/qPCR, NGS prep and plate‑based assays.
- Flexible tool exchange (1‑channel, 8‑channel, gripper) and 15 deck positions enable diverse workflows and easy reformatting of tubes and plates.
- Optional CleanCap (UV + HEPA) and enclosed housing reduce contamination risk and support cleaner processing environments.
