Eppendorf 5075V EU MLT STD 5075006119
The Eppendorf epMotion 5075v is an automated liquid‑handling workstation with an integrated vacuum filtration station designed to automate filter‑based purification and extraction workflows. It is intended for walk‑away automation of protocols such as filter‑based purifications, DNA/RNA extraction, NGS library preparation, PCR/qPCR setup, magnetic bead‑based workflows and routine plate reformatting. The system is controlled via a MultiCon PC running epBlue software and is offered as part of the epMotion 5075 family of liquid handlers.
Key Features:
- Volume range: 0.2 µL to 1,000 µL (depending on dispensing tools)
- Accuracy / imprecision (manufacturer data): at 1 µL ±15% / ≤5%; at 50 µL ±1.2% / ≤0.4%; at 1,000 µL ±0.7% / ≤0.15%
- Deck: 12 SLAS/ANSI worktable positions (5075v configuration)
- Integrated vacuum unit: max. output 35 NL/min; suction range 0.1–85 kPa; adjustable manifold
- Automated exchange of 4 pipetting tools plus gripper; plate stacking (up to 5 microplates or 2 deep‑well plates)
- Controller/software: MultiCon PC with preinstalled epBlue software (touch, mouse & keyboard operation)
Advantages:
- True walk‑away automation for filter‑based purification and extraction protocols, increasing throughput and freeing operator time.
- Integrated vacuum pump with adjustable manifold accommodates most filter kits and reduces external tubing/reservoir maintenance.
- Automatic tool exchange and plate stacking boost workflow flexibility and enable unattended multi‑step protocols.
- Validated accuracy across 0.2–1,000 µL supports reproducible liquid handling for a wide range of molecular biology applications.
