Multi-layer ABLUO syringe filter designed for sample clarification and sterile filtration of solutions with high particulate content. The filter uses a graded pre-filter construction to enable easier preparation of larger or hard-to-filter samples and to facilitate smooth syringe plunger operation with viscous or sediment-laden liquids. Typical applications include sterile filtration and clarification, analytical sample preparation (including uHPLC), cell culture and protein chemistry, and filtration of aqueous and alcoholic solutions.
