GVS Filter, Disk, CA, 0.45µm, 25mm, 100/PK 1215635
GVS qualitative filter paper disc designed for laboratory filtration and qualitative analysis. The disc provides medium (Grade 01) retention and flow rate for routine laboratory applications, clarifying liquids and rapid filtration of fine precipitates such as lead sulphate, calcium oxalate (hot) and calcium carbonate. The paper is produced from refined pulp and pure cotton linters with an alpha‑cellulose content near 100% and a low ash content (<0.06%), providing high purity for analytical work.
Key Features:
- Diameter: 47 mm
- Format: Disc
- Grade: 01 — Medium filtration (retention range 7–11 µm; thickness 160–190 µm; weight ~84 g/m²)
- Ash content: <0.06%
- Pack quantity: 100 per pack
Advantages:
- High purity construction (refined pulp and pure cotton linters with nearly 100% alpha‑cellulose) minimizes contamination of analytical samples.
- Medium retention and flow rate suitable for a wide range of routine laboratory filtrations and clarifying liquids.
- Low ash content and hardened structure allow recovery of precipitates and use in common qualitative and food/soil analytical procedures.
- Enhanced mechanical strength and reliability for consistent filtration performance.
