Quantitative ashless filter paper, 70 mm disc, Grade 41 (Fast), supplied in packs of 100. This ashless, hardened quantitative paper is intended for critical gravimetric and quantitative analyses and is suitable for use with Büchner funnels and for filtration under pressure. The Grade 41 (Fast) variant provides a fast flow rate and is used for the filtration of coarse flocculent, bulky or gelatinous precipitates during gravimetric work.

Key Features:

  • Diameter: 70 mm
  • Grade: Quantitative, Fast (Grade 41)
  • Retention range: 20–25 µm
  • Box quantity: 100 discs
  • Filtration time for distilled water: 21 seconds
  • Thickness: 190 µm
  • Wet bursting strength: 40 kPa

Advantages:

  • Ashless, hardened production process minimizes ash content to prevent contamination of analytical precipitates.
  • Fast filtration rate reduces processing time for coarse or bulky precipitates in gravimetric workflows.
  • Mechanical strength and hardened texture make it suitable for Büchner funnel use and filtration under pressure.
  • Consistent retention characteristics (20–25 µm) support reproducible quantitative and gravimetric results.
