The SE600 is a standard, dual-cooled vertical protein electrophoresis unit designed for preparation and electrophoretic separation of proteins using 18 cm long polyacrylamide gels. The basic unit provides a vertical gel format with dual cooling to maintain uniform gel temperature (1–45°C) and supports denaturing and native PAGE as well as 2-D electrophoresis. The system is intended for running up to four gels (maximum 112 samples) simultaneously under identical conditions to produce straight lanes and sharp, well-defined bands.
