The Hygiena Automated Thermal Block is a Peltier-driven heating and cooling device programmed to automatically perform the lysis steps for BAX® System protocols. It provides sequential heating and cooling conditions for lysis protocols and holds samples at 4 °C at the end of each lysis program until they are removed. The unit is designed to eliminate manual transfer of samples between separate heating and cooling blocks and to integrate lysis processing into laboratory workflows.
