BAX® System Real-time Staphylococcus aureus Kit is a real-time PCR assay for rapid, reliable detection of Staphylococcus aureus in food samples. The AOAC-certified assay provides presence/absence results at concentrations as low as 10^4 cfu/mL after enrichment and is specifically validated for milk- and soy-based powdered infant formula, ground beef, and soy protein isolate. The test completes in approximately 70 minutes using the BAX® System Q7 instrument and is supplied for 96 reactions.
