The 32-well aluminum cold block MCH2001 is a chilled tube block designed for use with the BAX® System X5 to hold and cool strips of PCR tubes during assay setup and lysis workflows. The block provides a cooled surface for hydration of PCR tablets and temporary storage of PCR tube holders at chilled temperatures (recommended 2–8 °C) during preparation steps. It is intended for food safety and environmental laboratory workflows using the BAX® System X5 instrument.
