The foodproof Animal Detection 1 LyoKit is a lyophilized real-time PCR test kit for detection of porcine (Sus scrofa), bovine (Bos taurus, Bos indicus) and equine (horse, donkey, zebra) DNA in food, feed and pharmaceutical products. The kit uses a 5'Nuclease, low profile format to provide sensitive detection down to 0.001% (10 ppm) of target DNA across a range of matrices including meat products, gelatin, milk powder and processed foods, with results available in under two hours. The kit is supplied as a 1 LyoKit and is designed to run 96 reactions (KIT230127).
