The foodproof Beer Screening 1 LyoKit is a manufacturer-produced, lyophilized real-time PCR test system for rapid screening of beer spoilage bacteria in beer, enrichment broth, and pitching yeast samples. The assay detects spoilage genera Lactobacillus, Pediococcus, Pectinatus and Megasphaera, provides species-specific identification including Lactobacillus brevis, and detects hop-tolerance genes horA and horC. The product is supplied as a 5'Nuclease format with Different Profile (DP) configuration and is identified by product code KIT230073.
