The Hygiena foodproof Campylobacter Detection Kit, Hybridization Probes is a real-time PCR assay for detection of Campylobacter species in food and environmental samples. The assay detects thermotolerant Campylobacter species including C. jejuni, C. coli, C. lari, C. upsaliensis, C. hyointestinalis and C. fetus, and enables differentiation/identification of C. jejuni and C. coli by melting curve analysis. The kit is intended for use in food safety and quality control laboratories for screening poultry, meat and other food matrices for Campylobacter contamination.
