The foodproof Clostridium botulinum Detection LyoKit is a lyophilized real-time PCR assay for detection and differentiation of neurotoxin-producing Clostridium strains in enrichment cultures from food samples. The kit uses a 5'Nuclease chemistry and Regular Profile format (KIT230111) to detect C. botulinum, C. baratii and C. butyricum and to identify neurotoxin types A, B, E and F, with integrated Internal Control and UNG contamination prevention for reliable results in food safety testing laboratories.
