The foodproof Salmonella Detection Kit with Hybridization Probes is a real-time PCR assay for specific detection of Salmonella spp. in food and environmental samples. The kit provides reagents and sequence-specific hybridization probes designed for use on Roche LightCycler platforms (LightCycler 1.x, 2.0 and 480) and is supplied as a 480-reaction format for high-throughput testing. The assay is AOAC- and MicroVal-validated and includes internal controls and validation data for testing matrices such as meat, dairy, cocoa products, spices and environmental swabs.
