The foodproof Vibrio Detection LyoKit is a real-time PCR detection kit for Vibrio parahaemolyticus, V. vulnificus and V. cholerae in seafood and environmental samples. It identifies pathogenicity-associated toxin genes tdh, trh1, trh2 and ctx through melting curve analysis and delivers accurate results from enriched cultures within hours. The kit is supplied as a ready-to-use lyophilized PCR mix for 96 reactions, uses 5' Nuclease chemistry and is provided in a Regular Profile format compatible with major real-time PCR platforms.
