Hygiena InSite Listeria is an easy-to-use, self-contained environmental test for detection of Listeria species. Each swab device contains chromogenic liquid media formulated with antibiotics, growth enhancers and color-changing compounds plus neutralizers in the wetting solution to improve sample collection and counter sanitizer effects. A change in color after 24–48 hours of incubation is considered a presumptive positive, enabling on-site environmental screening without additional sample handling or expensive laboratory equipment.
