The microproof Legionella Quantification LyoKit is a lyophilized real-time PCR assay designed for rapid, quantitative detection of Legionella spp., L. pneumophila, and L. pneumophila serogroup 1 in water samples. The kit uses 5' nuclease chemistry and a regular profile assay format to deliver sensitive detection (down to 3 GU/reaction) and reliable quantification from 10 GU/reaction, meeting ISO/TS 12869:2019 specifications. It includes internal controls and quantification standards and supports colony confirmation workflows for water quality testing in cooling towers, hotels, hospitals and industrial facilities.
