Buffered Peptone Water (BPW) in StatMedia soluble packet format is a non-selective pre-enrichment medium designed for recovery of injured Salmonella cells and for recovery of Cronobacter species from food and environmental samples. The product is provided as 68 g water‑soluble packets that dissolve rapidly in warm water to produce pre-enrichment broth suitable for PCR and other pathogen detection workflows. StatMedia soluble packets deliver the same performance as bulk powder while reducing dust and manual handling during media preparation.
