Porvair Sciences 96-well filtration plate designed for laboratory filtration and sample preparation. Each well provides 800 µl working volume and is fitted with a polyethylene (PE) filter media with a mean pore size of 10–25 µm (25 µm listed). The plate is intended to remove particulate matter from liquid samples and to enable recovery of either particulate material or filtrate for downstream analysis in applications such as cell harvesting, DNA separations, binding studies, plasmid isolation and general sample clean-up.
