Polaris NH2 5 µm, 250 x 10.0 mm is a preparative HPLC column in the Agilent Polaris family featuring an NH2 (amide) phase. It is designed for use in preparative HPLC separations and lists HILIC, normal phase, reversed phase and SFC as applicable separation modes. The column specification set (particle size, pore size, pressure rating and temperature limit) targets preparative-scale separations of analytes up to the stated molecular weight limit.

Key Features:

  • Phase: NH2 (Amide)
  • Dimensions: 250 mm length × 10.0 mm ID
  • Particle size: 5 µm; Pore size: 180 Å
  • Pressure rating: 400 bar; Maximum temperature: 60 °C
  • Carbon load: 5.5%; Particle type: Fully porous
  • Separation modes: HILIC, Normal Phase, Reversed Phase, SFC
  • pH range: 2–8

Advantages:

  • Supports multiple separation modes (HILIC, normal phase, reversed phase and SFC) for method flexibility.
  • Preparative HPLC dimensions and a 400 bar pressure rating enable preparative-scale separations.
  • Fully porous 5 µm particles with 180 Å pores and a 5.5% carbon load for retention and resolution of a range of analytes.
  • Usable across a broad pH range (2–8) and up to 60 °C for diverse method conditions.
